Masonic Park Seeks Caretaker Couple

The Masonic Family Park near Granite Falls, Washington is starting the process of finding and hiring a retired couple to assist in the maintenance and operation of the beautiful 245 acre park located along the Cascade Mountain loop Highway. The couple both needs to be able bodied and available full time to exercise their assigned duties. Modern spacious living quarters, with all utilities, are furnished. The salary is modest, so a supplemental income stream is a requirement. The gentleman must be a Master Mason in good standing. No young live-in children.

Duties will include all types of activities commensurate with operating this type of semi-rustic camping facility including grounds maintenance, attending the gate, cleaning, light plumbing, and elementary electrical work. Computer skills and a basic knowledge of accounting principles would be a plus.

This is an opportunity to live and work in a healthy, loving small community with a strong family atmosphere. Granite Falls Damascus Lodge #199 is an active and friendly one with an active Eastern Star Chapter. Major shopping conveniences are located nearby at Lake Stevens and Everett.

District 8 Wardens Competition Winners

Congratulations to Brothers Al Mixon and Alex Wheatley for on winning the 2011 Wardens Competition. They demonstrated that Centennial Lodge # 25 is committed to excellent ritual presentation as well as having officers that will do the Lodge proud. They will represent the District by advancing to the Regional Competition. Please congratulate these Brethren the next time you see them.
