If you want to shop by yourself at Amazon.com and still help us get a commission here is the link code and instructions to use it. The price you pay is the same regardless if we get a commission.

The District Eight ID code is:    distreightoftheg

Explaination
Here is a sample URL for an Amazon product:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0679415629/002-9298277-1511665
The first portion, "http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/", is the internet address for the server.
The second portion, "ASIN/0679415629/", is the Amazon Standard Item Number and the actual number for that product.
The last portion, "002-9298277-1511665", is the shopping session code assigned by the server to track you while you are buying products. This number will vary

Quick Instructions:
Find the product you want and delete everything after the ASIN code "ASIN/0679415629/" and insert our District Eight ID code (distreightoftheg) and hit "enter" .

Detailed Instructions/Example:
I go to Amazon.com and search for "Star Wars: The Visual Dictionary "
I will get a URL like this:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0789434814/002-9298277-1511665

I click twice in the location field and using the arrow buttons move the cursor over to the right end and delete the last set of numbers to get this:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0789434814/

And then add the District Eight ID Code:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0789434814/distreightoftheg

Then hit the enter key, verify that the District Eight ID code is visible in the URL now:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0789434814/distreightoftheg/002-9298277-1511665

Click on "Add to Shopping Basket" as normal.
The really important part is that the District 8 code is visible in the URL when you click on "Add to Shopping Basket"

It is also possible to slightly different URL's depending on your search:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0345394437/qid=919626109/sr=1-2/002-7776468-5982064
In this case you need to delete the query code and the session id code and then add the district id code after the ASIN/0679415629/product id code.
